The New York State Liquor Authority (SLA) has unveiled a new online price posting system that is intended to provide a more user friendly format for manufacturers and wholesalers in completing these filings. Both the new and old price posting systems will remain available for use until April 7, 2014 when the May 2014 retail wine and retail liquor price postings are due. After that date, only the new price posting system will be available. On Jan. 28, 2014 the Authority sent a letter of notification and a unique PIN number to enable initial access to the new system to each licensed manufacturer and wholesaler. Current licensees that have not received a PIN and new licensees should contact the SLA for a PIN number. All licensed manufacturers that are the brand owner or exclusive brand agent are required file wholesale prices each month.
